Try All By Fire 2012 is not a race or an organized ride. It is a journey. It is a quest. It is a calling to people seeking a little bit of adventure. Or a lot. That is what makes this event so unique; the path is entirely up to you. Your pick the route - We provide the finish line.

The Specifics

Try All By Fire is a unique one of a kind event that allows cyclists of all abilities and interests to participate in the event at their own speed and distance with one goal – reach the finish line. You select your own route – starting at your home, your office, a group starting spot, bike shop or just down the road from the finish line. You ride your bike alone, as part of a relay team, or do a group ride to get to the finish line by the ending time period (4pm – 6pm). Cross the finish line and become part of the TRY ALL BY FIRE – TRYBE (Tribe).
Arrival at the finish line will be big and full of life! Worthy of the travelers reward for a long journey to the finish. Bonfire, barbecue, tiki torches, two live bands, beer, camping and more.

I could only think of ONE way to top the experience that I had last year at Try All by Fire .... by bringing my entire Family this year consisting of 5 daughters 2 sons 2 dogs and my Wife ! Try All by Fire is the epitome of a True Family Event ..... Cant wait to cross that Finish Line with all 11 members of the Clifford Crew ~ JC

Finish line, shminish line. My family and I participated in this amazing event in it's inaugural year and will continue to do so for as long as it takes place. Last year my girls were 5 and 7. My husband and I were so excited that the did not even notice that they had think twice about biking 13 miles along the river and back to the "finish line" party that ensued. Live music, dancing, food, camping. More fun than you can shake a stick at. The best part: a family experience that lives on in our hearts and minds; one that we look forward to year after year. Thank you to my adopted TRYbe.

This is the best! It removes the suffering and competitive edge of doing whatever challenges you but gives you a goal that has all the positive aspects of a group happening. I end up challenging myself more because I can choose exactly the type of challenge I want. Imagine being able to design your own triathlon or race of any type. but not have to plan or promote it! My 4 and 7 year old did a hike last year and came across the finish line elated. My son said that everyone came in second! It was such a positive race experience! And being drummed across the finish line rocks!

The TRY-All-By-FIRE is so much more than a race. It is unique event involving a community of individuals supporting each other to be their best, become who they once were and aspire to be even better than they ever imagined. You choose your route, the level of difficulty and determine the overall level of adventure your able to overcome in your journey to the finish. Failure is not an option. All it takes is willingness to TRY and through the support of all involved you'll see there is no other event like it!
